Software Development, Image and Speech Processing, University of California San Francisco (UCSF), CA, 2002-2004.  Design Engineer, responsible for developing various applications for Image and Speech Processing.  The applications were developed using simulations, quantitative algorithms and software programming such as C and Matlab.  The work also included testing of the algorithm using hardware software interface.

Manufacture, Install, and Integrate Electronic Energy Meters - Elektron Energy Equipment Pvt. Ltd., India, 1997-2000. Vineet as Founder Member was responsible for indigenously developing both single- and three-phase electronic energy meters also known as smart meters.  Responsibilities included implementation of hardware/software interface.  Vineet was instrumental in bringing awareness about the advantages of electronic energy meters over electro-mechanical energy meters among several State Electricity Boards in India.  Vineet conducted several seminars across the country and provided logistical support during the installation process.  Today virtually all states in India are using these electronic energy meters.  Vineet also undertook the responsibility of Product Integration Manager later in the production stage.
